Store Decor installs third VUTEk® PressVu® UV 180/600 EC to streamline production and realize further cost savings

The installation of a third VUTEK® PressVu® UV 180/600 EC has enabled Texas-based POP specialist, The Store Decor Company, to streamline production and offer more competitive pricing to customers. By utilizing its third VUTEk® flatbed/rigid printer, Store Decor is now able to double its production without compromising image quality.

A recent example includes a job produced using its new PressVu® UV's eight-colors, to create visually exciting wallpaper and window graphics for two flagship McDonald's restaurants.

Based in Dallas, Texas, and Birmingham, Alabama, the McDonald's restaurants now feature images of brightly colored cartoon characters on its walls and windows, printed directly onto vinyl coated commercial wallpaper, and a low-tac self-adhesive vinyl for the glass. Designed to appeal to a younger audience, the VUTEk® printed graphics have proved to be a big hit with customers.

Terry Frey, Sales Associate, The Store Decor Company, comments, 'We tried to produce the McDonald's graphics on two of our other machines, but the output was no where near as clean and crisp as the same job from our PressVu® UV's. The 37.7m² McDonald's wallpaper and forty 1.27 meters x 0.77 meters window graphics, were printed in only 16 hours. 'By eradicating the need to transfer the graphics onto laminates and then mount them onto vinyl sheets, we saved considerable time and money. As a result, the client has retained our services for future projects.'
